[Fixed in OxygenOS 11.0.10.10] OnePlus 8 users facing Google Pay issues after updating to OxygenOS 11.0.9.9

DECEMBER 25, 2021 (10:46 ET) OnePlus has now fixed the Google Pay issue in OxygenOS 11.0.10.10 update for the OnePlus 8 series users. You can check the complete changelog here.
OCTOBER 26, 2021: OxygenOS 11.0.9.9
Last week, OnePlus started to roll out OxygenOS 11.0.9.9 update for OnePlus 8 users in several regions. The update comes with some changes as well as improvements, along with the latest, October 2021 Android security patch.
However, soon after the OnePlus 8 users have started installing this firmware, they have begun facing some issues related to Google Pay services.

Recently, a user reported that after he update his phone, he get an error in Google Pay that his device cannot be used for contactless payments because it does not meet security standards. He explained that everything worked fine before the update.
Well, this issue isn’t only faced by a single or couple or person, many users have taken the OnePlus community forum to express the issues they are facing after the latest update.
Notably, this issue hasn’t reached any community moderator yet. We hope that the company will soon observe these problems and release a fix as early as possible.
