OnePlus Android 13 will bring new Gesture Navigation Bar with OxygenOS 13
A few days back Google released the Android 13 third beta update and we still find some minor changes in this new version of Android. Even if the Android 13 reaches its stable version – there is only one beta left. One of these fine changes is the gesture navigation bar at the bottom of your smartphone.

While many Android OEMs prefer to let you hide this bar, the Pixel doesn’t have this option and soon after the Android 13 stable update, other OEMs will also adopt this minor change – including the OnePlus smartphone. Not too thick, but that’s probably because it’s copying iOS.

OnePlus Android 13/OxygenOS 13 has new Gesture Navigation Bar
For those of us deeply rooted in all things Android, it’s hard to imagine someone not understanding what this UI part means. A visual indicator is always useful for people who are not experts in everything their smartphone can do. With this change, there is absolutely no impact on the functionality or accessibility of gesture navigation.
It’s a way to put more emphasis on the action bar. This may change again in the upcoming OnePlus Android 13-based OxygenOS 13 beta build. Fortunately, the gesture navigation bar is not mandatory on other Android smartphones. It’s really just a pixel feature. Like Oneplus Android 13 and others, offer a feature that lets you disable the bar, which is great.
