OnePlus CEO promises better software updates for OnePlus devices after merging with Oppo
OnePlus‘ software update system has been a big question in the last couple of years. This Chinese OEM has been recognized in the industry for the quality of its products and the premiumness it offers. While the software updates may sometimes disappoint users and may not be up to expectations.
Whereas, Samsung has been accurate when it comes to firmware. The South Korean tech giant never disappoints its users and provides timely or sometimes before-time updates to even the budget devices.

We were waiting for OnePlus to improve its own software update mechanism and it seems that the company is already working on it. As per the latest information, OnePlus is merging with Oppo to provide more efficient and quality products such as bringing faster and more stable software updates for OnePlus users said, CEO Pete in the forum post.
Oppo and OnePlus have also shared their relations from past times when the CEO Pete himself worked for Oppo at a point in time. Since then both these Chinese tech firms have been together as a team to better streamline their operations and capitalize on additional shared resources.
Furthermore, the CEO said that OnePlus will still be an independent brand despite its integration with Oppo. It will keep working with an aim to provide quality products and services to the users under the umbrella of Oppo.
