OnePlus fixes the location issue for the OnePlus 7/6, fix coming soon for the OnePlus 5/8
According to the latest information, OnePlus has fixed the “Identify location information” issue on the OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 7 in the recent update.

The feature“Identify location information” for making emergency calls is temporarily unavailable due to unexpected development. Now, this issue has fixed for the OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 7 series users.
Currently, the fix only available via the latest OxygenOS open beta for the devices. Those users who want to use this feature can open from the following steps:
- Open the Phone app
- Tap on the three-dots
- Select Settings
- Toggle on Identify location information.
In addition, OnePlus will release an update that will also fix the issue for the OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 8 series. The problem will also be resolved with upcoming stable versions for all affected devices. Thus, users will receive an OTA update.
