OnePlus likely to use special OxygenOS software for its first-ever foldable

OnePlus foldable continues to emerge in the headlines these days and the latest news reveals a special OxygenOS software for the device. It looks like the Chinese OEM has some really unique and interesting plans for its first-ever foldable smartphone.

Recently, we heard that the tech giant is giving a new name to its upcoming folding handset. As of now, another leak is surfing on the online board, pointing out that OnePlus Foldable will adopt a special software version – OxygenOS Fold.

The respective detail is coming right away from the Twitter handle @SnoopyTech. Though the tipster didn’t mention any other info on this matter, except for the term “OxygenOS Fold”. Yet, it is enough to reflect that we have some dynamic offerings in the next month.

Eventually, another tipster @MaxJmb also confirmed this leak by saying “accurate”. The leak could be appropriate since OPPO has already started working on the ColorOS Fold for the Find N2 series. Although it would be worth seeing how OnePlus differentiate its software from that of OPPO.
