Before we proceed, let’s understand what is gyro delay.
A gyro delay or gyroscope delay usually refers to the rotation function of the device. Eventually, it enables you to turn the interface of your phone horizontally or vertically while watching a video or playing games on your device. You can also set the view by tapping “Auto Rotate” on the Quick Settings shade.
As of now, the gyro sensor for the Nord 2T handsets has been affected after the OxygenOS 13 beta update. Consequently, the issue has resulted in persistent system lags and abnormal functioning of the smartphone, which is quite annoying for consumers.
As per the input revealings, many OnePlus Nord 2T users come across the platform discussing the system lagging issues and gyroscope delay defects due to the latest OxygenOS 13 update. Not only the user interface but various video streaming apps and gaming apps also going through low performance due to the lag issue.
Another Issue – Battery Draining
It’s not just the lag issue, but the latest beta iteration is also troubling users with heating and battery-draining issues.
After updating the beta version of OxygenOS 13 on my 2T heavy heating issue was found. And YouTube frame drop lagging issue. The battery draining at night loss 10 percent of the battery without any use.
Since it is a beta firmware, there are possibilities to get some defects alongside. This is the reason to recommend a backup before following any installation. Being a beta update, we can only anticipate for the company to roll out the stable release and fix the respective issue as soon as possible.
