On April 4, OnePlus will launch a new smartphone in the global market, OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite and it will pre-pack OxygenOS 13.1 operating system with new functionalities.

The latest information on this upcoming Nord series device is coming directly from Kinder Liu, COO and President of the OnePlus in an exclusive statement to Techradar.

While sharing some specs about the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite, Kinder said the phone will equip OxygenOS 13.1 software. It will be a hyper-intuitive version of this Android 13-based custom software skin.

He further elaborated that OxygenOS 13.1 will debut a fast and smooth user experience with this budget-friendly smartphone. However, Kinder refrained from showcasing specific details about the new OxygenOS version.

Still, we can assume that OnePlus will adopt some new privacy and security improvements for the next OxygenOS.

Specs:

OenPlus Nord CE 3 Lite will use a 6.72 -inch screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate for smoother on-screen content. This measurement of the display is bigger as compared to the predecessor Nord CE 2 Lite.

The new Nord phone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G chipset to enable 5G access in a mid-range device.

Liu elaborated that Nord CE 3 Lite will also focus on mobile gaming and there could be some dedicated features for this segment.

“Quick Startup gives users a quick entry into the game, Game Focus Mode automatically blocks unwanted notifications and defeats mistouches and the GPA Frame Stabilizer reduces system lag and enhances frame rate stability,” told Liu.

This phone will also sport a 108MP camera system. So, we can expect good photo quality for the customers. To provide the optimum performance, OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite will support 8GB of RAM.

Interestingly, the OnePlus president mentioned that this phone will satisfy customers with its all-around features including the pricing. However, we’ll have to wait to know more on this matter.
