At the outset, the user appreciated the work and additions done with the OxygenOS 13. Further, he mentioned that he is eagerly looking forward to seeing what changes the 13.1 version will bring to the consumer surface.
“The OxygenOS 13 is one of the smoothest and feature packed android skin, I love using it on my OnePlus 9 Pro, also waiting to see what all changes are made with OxygenOS 13.1”
However, the user is more interested in OxygenOS 14 and said that the company would have already started hammering a new OxygenOS based on Android 14. Adding more, the user put forth some tweaks and modifications that he would like to experience.
OxygenOS 14 Features Wishlist
- Introduce lock screen customizations
- Bring stock android media player design
- Material You support for more apps
- Introduce new themes in the OnePlus Theme store app
- Fix auto rotate toggle which goes to the opposite side when switched to landscape mode
- Change the app drawer layout and allow more than 4 applications
- Allow notifications to be cleared from both left and right swipe
- Let the app drawer close with one swipe down, as it takes 2-3 attempts to close the app drawer and it won’t go down quickly in one attempt (how it used to be in OxygenOS 11)

It’s worth mentioning that the tech maker has returned the edit app’s name functionality with the new OxygenOS 13 update. Thus, it looks like OnePlus will make some extraordinary and worthwhile changes to the next major iteration.
