OnePlus OxygenOS 14 inches closer to iOS family with similar UI changes
OxygenOS 14 has already muggled up Apple’s Dynamic Island but it looks like OnePlus won’t stop here and continue to steal some more UI changes from the iOS department. A new post on X (Twitter) shows how the Chinese OEM slowly began following the iPhone maker.
The familiar OnePlus fan @ShishirShelke1 shared a post on the X platform, comparing the UI changes of OxygenOS 14 and iOS 17. While Apple’s software reached the stability point, the Chinese tech giant is serving beta versions to its top-end models for the moment.
Attaching an image to the post, the tipster cited how OnePlus is inching closer to the iOS family with every OxygenOS 14 beta update. The image presents the Settings interface of iOS and OxygenOS, and surprisingly, both sides appear quite identical to each other.

This is not the first time when we found similarities between Apple iOS and OnePlus software. Earlier, the company made such changes to the Photos app that it looked like the iOS Gallery application. And now, we are seeing the OnePlus UI, taking the form of the Apple iPhone.
Eventually, the concept has some positivity. The plus point is that OnePlus users will finally get something different from ColorOS. New tweaks and interface enhancements will deliver a more seamless experience. Besides, we may encounter fewer bugs and glitches with this ultimate change.
Things will only get clear with the stable rollout. By that time, let’s see what more changes the company will snatch from Apple and Samsung in the coming days.
