Google has released the Android 14 Beta 5.3 update and confirmed that it has no plans to initiate the official rollout at this moment. At the same time, some revealings hint that the manufacturer will show off the stable build on October 04. Perhaps, the delay in the Android 14 release may impact OxygenOS 14 for OnePlus devices.
The Chinese OEM has already announced the official launch date for its next OxygenOS version on September 25. On the other hand, OnePlus continues to serve the latest OxygenOS 14 closed beta to the top-end models. However, the delay of stable Android 14 raises questions about the progress of the OnePlus OxygenOS 14.
Why So?
It is so because the flashback reveals that OnePlus released its major OxygenOS version a month after the stable Android launch. And the latest 14th build was no exception to this theory. So far, everyone was confident to grab the official Android 14 upgrade by the end of August.
Although @MishaalRahman cited that Google is pulling back the stable release till the Pixel 8 series launch event (October 04). Eventually, it is a one-month delay and OnePlus might slow down the progress of OOS 14 due to this alleged action.
In that case, things will continue in the beta phase while the Nord maker could begin the official rollout in late October or early November. But it is only in the air for the moment. And who knows, OnePlus may release the stable OxygenOS 14 on the decided date!
