OnePlus returns to Indonesian market with new benefits

Posted on

OnePlus has returned to the Indonesian market, after a long wait of seven years. Finally, users residing in Indonesia will be able to grab new handy gadgets of the brand and enjoy their ultimate perks.

To those who are unaware, OnePlus left the Indonesian platform in June 2016. A major cause behind this step was local rules and other prohibitions for importing 4G smartphones.

Reason:

As per the inputs, the official lawsuits of Indonesia passed a law where every 4G device needs to contain 30% locally sourced components. While smartphone manufacturers like Samsung, OPPO, and Asus were doing well, OnePlus failed to complete the mandatory certification process on time.

Eventually, the company had to make some changes to the OnePlus X model and sold it as a 3G phone. The tech giant believed that frequent changes in the regulation have become a huge trouble for OnePlus.

However, that’s no more the case with the company, and once again OnePlus is back on the Indonesian market.

Earlier, OnePlus uttered some words on this matter, confirming it would soon step back into the respective ground. On the side hand, the company also initiated new Twitter channels and sites for this purpose.

Although at that time, the websites were not completely availed and most of the pages are still filled with the contents of 2020-2021. But an assurance is that the company will soon align the new OnePlus products on the Indonesian websites and relevant pages.

Devices like the OnePlus 11, OnePlus 11R, and some Nord products could make their way to Indonesian fans in the coming days. Furthermore, the company is also holding a special program ‘The Seed+’ to draw the attention of its users.

Though the original ‘OnePlus Indonesia’ page does not comprise much information at the initial stage. But we could have a glimpse of flagship models of this year on this page, in the time ahead.
