OnePlus rolling out OxygenOS 11.0.1.1 to the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro with new Canvas mode, October 2020 patch, and more

OnePlus is rolling out a new stable OxygenOS 11.0.1.1 software update to the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro devices. It added a new Always-on ambient display mode with the Canvas mode feature.

This newly added Canvas feature that can automatically draw a wireframe picture based on a lock screen photo on your phone.

Along with this new feature, it optimized several small and big process and added the October 2020 security patch. In addition, it optimized the intelligent 5G function to extend battery endurance capacity and Wi-Fi connection to improve stability of connectivity.

Note: As always, this OTA will be incremental. The OTA will reach a small percentage of users in the beginning, and the company will begin a broader rollout in a few days.
