Today, at the Oppo Developer Conference 2021, the president of Oppo Software engineering division, Wu Henggang said that the company is expecting to build a user-centric ubiquitous service experience around people’s life scenarios and behaviors through strong perception and interaction capabilities and computational decision-making capabilities. 

It will create a more natural and non-sense interactive experience between people and devices. In the integration of the real rendering of the virtual world and reality, seamless interconnection of multiple devices is completed, so that the service experience can flow with people.

ColorOS will be based on the Android system platform, with a key technology layout. And, its capability will be opening in the two major areas of perception and computing.

Moreover, on the basis of AI rendering technology, Oppo ColorOS brings Omoji virtual images, multiple deep learning model blessings, and powerful AI algorithmic capabilities. This allows the device to capture changes in the subtle facial muscles, accurately restoring delicate expressions and becoming a user in the virtual world.

Oppo has also brought ray tracing technology. This tech is based on the Vulkan API and is designed for the next generation of mobile optical tracking hardware. It has been prototyped on a mobile platform.

Oppo’s ray tracing technology can clearly restore real-world details in a picture, and enhance the user’s picture quality experience. It is expected that in the first half of 2022, Oppo will provide open capability access to ray tracing technology on mobile devices that support ray tracing technology.

In addition to game applications, ray tracing technology can also generate new commercial value in 3D live wallpapers, image filters, AR, and other fields.

Aside from this, Oppo launched a system-level solution for performance and power optimization-heterogeneous computing. On the one hand, this technology provides CPU multi-core and multi-threading capabilities for full services from the driver layer. While on the other hand, it provides developers with an open interface that can call multiple processors of the hardware.

Besides, reportedly, Oppo has officially launched Oppo Carlink solution in all major smart life scenarios of ubiquitous services. This is a set of solutions from hardware to software, from technical capabilities to service applications, from cars to four-wheeled cars, a system travel solution across all terminals and scenarios.

Oppo Zhixing has officially opened the car-machine integration capability to the public, hoping to establish a car-machine integration platform with hardware partners, application developers, and IoT industry partners.

Oppo Zhixing currently cooperates with more than 70 manufacturers, covering auto manufacturers, two-wheel electric vehicle manufacturers, Tier1 manufacturers, and travel service providers.
