Like the other OEMs, Oppo is also releasing the latest security patch for its several phones. The security updates are important for any device as it keeps your smartphone protected against threats and viruses. The Chinese phone maker is now releasing a new update for the Oppo Find X and F7 phones.
This new firmware update brings the latest February 2021 security patch for the Oppo Find X, Oppo F7, and Oppo F7 128G phones which are currently running on ColorOS 7.1 based Android 10. It optimizes the system and brings stability to the device.
Meanwhile, the company is also rolling out the features of the latest Android 11 for its couple of eligible devices with the ColorOS 11. And many others are also joining the beta program, the company has also released the roadmap for the rollout of the ColorOS 11 along with the time period.

The new update for the Oppo Find X can be identified with version number CPH1871EX_11F.31, while the Oppo F7 and F7 128G carriers the build version as CPH1821EX_11_F.25 and CPH1819EX_11_F.25 respectively. The download size of the package for Oppo Find X is 186MB while for the F7 and F7 128G is 298MB.
If you own one of these handsets then you can check for the updates simply by going through the Settings, in the Software updates section, and then tap on the Download and install option.
