ColorOS 14 (Android 14) closed beta begins for OPPO Reno 10 5G

OPPO is gradually extending the ColorOS 14 (Android 14) closed beta program to other eligible devices in the smartphone family including the Reno 10 5G devices. In case you carry the respective phone in your pocket and live in India, then get ready to experience a new phase!

Yes! OPPO has begun the ColorOS 14 closed beta program for the Reno 10 5G devices and calling out 200 users to participate in the testing pool. Don’t miss the chance the beta channel is open till September 14, so get into Settings > About Device and submit your application right away.

Before you head to the application procedure, ensure that your device is running on the CPH2531_13.1.1.402 (EX01) version. Besides, the beta firmware could bring the following issues to your device:

• When exporting photos shot in succession, the thumbnails are grey, and clicking is not responsive.
• Certain desktop cards are blank after upgrading.
• PRO Mode is located on the first page while the NIGHT Mode is in the More section in Camera.

Hence, take a complete backup of your smartphone and proceed with the installation at your own risk.

How to Apply?

As mentioned, you need to visit the Settings appAbout Device > Tap the top icon > Click on Trial Versions. Here you will see the term ‘Alpha’. Now tap on it and fill in your information. Note that the company selects users randomly and this entire process could take a few days to complete.
