OPPO Reno 10 Pro 5G users can now participate in the ColorOS 14 closed beta program. This channel is open for a limited period. Hence, don’t miss the chance to experience the upcoming software and its exciting features ahead of the official release.
According to the information, OPPO is calling out 200 Reno 10 Pro 5G users residing in India to join the ColorOS 14 (Android 14) closed beta channel. Before submitting the application, make sure that your device is running on the detectable build version -CPH2531_13.1.1.402 (EX01) or 13.1.1.403.
Being a beta firmware, the update will serve some bugs and issues aside from new features. Therefore, we suggest taking a complete backup of the handset and proceeding with the installation at your own potential risk. You can check some of the known issues below.
Known Issues
- The Dual Channel network acceleration is unavailable.
- No vibration when entering numeric passwords and fingerprints, and using fingerprints to unlock.
- The text shown is wrong when the notification of pocket mistouch prevention appears.
How to Apply?
To join the testing phase, you need to visit the Settings app> About Device > Tap the top icon > Click on Trial Versions. Here you will see the term ‘Alpha’. Now tap on it and fill in your information. Note that the company selects users randomly and this entire process could take a few days to complete.
The company will review your application in 5 workdays. If the application passes, the tech giant will invite you to the Closed Beta Test Official Telegram Group by message. Please fill in your phone number and other details before September 22 carefully.
