OPPO Reno 8 receives March 2023 security update

OPPO is turning its face towards the Reno 8 smartphones and is bringing the March 2023 security update. The latest patch brings a handful of bug fixes and improves the stability of the security system.

According to the shared screenshot, OPPO Reno 8 phone holders can identify the latest March 2023 update with the ColorOS 13 CPH2359_11_C.33 build version. On the flip side, the firmware brings a software package of around 1017.85 MB.

To those who are unaware, OPPO is releasing the new version in batches. Hence, it could be available to a small number of users for the moment. Although, the company will begin a broader rollout in the coming days.

In the meantime, you can download the latest firmware using the manual procedure. For doing so, open the Settings menu of your handset, tap on System and Updates, and then visit Software Updates.

Talking about the firmware, it consists of two parts. The first part holds an updated security patch released in March 2023. Whereas, the second part aims to improve the phone’s system stability and boost the overall functioning of the device in all scenarios.
