OxygenOS 11 Features: Improved Dark Mode
OnePlus recently launched its latest custom skin OxygenOS 11 which is based on Android 11. As every major update brings some new and improved features, OnePlus is also presenting the same with its newest update. One of its key features is Dark Mode, the company was offering this in its old devices also but with OxygenOS11 it has been improved.
What’s new:
The Dark mode is now Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0-certified which offers stable and easy dark mode skills. It also carries some different shades of black color for good display which makes your device look more beautiful and attractive.

Benefits:
If you use your device in the dark with a bright screen your eyes could get damaged but on using dark mode, they won’t. Also, Google has confirmed that using dark mode on OLED screens saves battery life.
How to enable Dark Mode:
Click on the ‘Dark Mode’ option in the notification panel and you can easily enable it in just a click. Besides this, if you want to manage apps as per your choice do follow the steps below;
- Go to Settings
- Display settings
- Open Dark Mode option available under Scenes
- Enable the Dark Mode
- Now go to Manage apps in Dark Mode
- And allow all the devices you want to use in this Dark theme

Dark mode looks super amazing therefore not only smartphones but many apps are also offering it even the dark themes are available now. But everything about the Dark mode is also not good, one should not use this feature in bright daylight because it could affect your eyes in daylight.
