OxygenOS 14 will feature Per-App Language setting for OnePlus phones
Yes! OnePlus is finally ready to bring the long-missing per-app language feature with OxygenOS 14 software upgrade. The hints are visible in the newly released closed beta and assure that we might see the Android 13-based functionality in the approaching OxygenOS version.
While OnePlus uproots its software on Android, it often skips some good parts, and the Per-Language setting has remained one of them. Sadly, the Chinese OEM(s) including OPPO, and Xiaomi didn’t implement the respective tweak that lets users set a different language for each application.
Perhaps, the company would have stuck with some issues they couldn’t resolve on time. However, things are ultimately changing for good with OxygenOS 14, which will bring the Per-App Language feature on board. A well-known OnePlus tipster found that the latest closed beta build read some codes that indicate the presence of the valuable capability.
Eventually, the tipster shared a list of strings that reflects the Per-App Language term. Meanwhile, another source clues that the new closed beta has a redesigned camera app as well as a battery health section. On the flip side, there is an 80% charging feature for optimized battery functioning.

Since things have only appeared in the beta phase, it won’t be right to mark any confirmation. Let’s see what else we will grab for the same in the coming days.
