Users are happy that Sony has finally fixed an issue that has plagued them since the console launched in November. Additionally, the current-gen PlayStation 5 console update improved system performance, added new management and storage options, and greatly expanded social capabilities, but also made the system’s Blu-ray drive much quieter.

Recently, users have complained about the loud buzzing of a disc with a game not even running in the drive that first appeared back in November, but only now Sony has finally fixed them. Users from various forums note that the console spins disks at first glance for no reason every 20-30 minutes, but now it does it almost silently.
