UPDATE 2: May 23 (00:08 ET) – Poco M4 Pro 5G will get MIUI 13 update soon
Xiaomi has started rolling out the MIUI 13 update in China, while a number of devices have started packing in Global, India, and other markets. Now, the MIUI 13 update for Android 12 for POCO M4 Pro 5G is ready, and we are expected to get a stable version of the Global ROM soon.

POCO M4 Pro 5G comes with Android 11-based MIUI 12.5 out of the box. The first Android and MIUI update for this phone will be the MIUI 13 update based on Android 12. On the other hand, the POCO M4 Pro 5G definitely gets MIUI 13.5.
With the #Evergreen codename for the Global ROM, the POCO M4 Pro 5G will receive an update with a specified build number. The Android 12-based MIUI 13 update for POCO M4 Pro 5G will come with firmware number V13.0.0.12.SGBMIXM.
The MIUI 13 version of the POCO M4 Pro 5G is first available for pilot testers. Later, if they didn’t find the problem, they would release it to the public. The MIUI 13 update has improved the “slide” in system applications by 20-26% and increased the “slide” in third-party applications by 15-52%.

POCO has started rolling out a new software update for POCO M4 Pro 5G users in Taiwan. It comes with the firmware version V12.5.2.0.RGBTWXM and weighs 2.5GB.

On November 9, Xiaomi’s sub-brand Poco uncovered its latest 5G smartphone, Poco M4 Pro 5G in global markets. Introduces as a rebranded version of Redmi Note 11 5G, the new device is getting its first software update.
