Poco to soon release its Redmi G 2021 rebranded laptop in India

Every smartphone brand such as AppleSamsungRealmeXiaomi, etc., offers its watches, buds, tablets, laptops, and other products. Now Xioami’s sub-brand Poco seems to be working on expanding its portfolio with the launch of its laptop.

Our folks over at 91Mobiles in collaboration with tipster Mukul Sharma revealed that Poco could introduce its first laptop in India, which will be a rebranded version of the Redmi G laptops that was launched in China in September this year.

As per the information, a Redmi G series laptop battery with build number G16B01W has just been certified by the Indian Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) database under Poco branding. The battery’s technical specifications are already known – it is a 3,620mAh cell (15.2V, 55.02Wh).

Redmi G Specifications:

The Redmi G 2021 gaming laptops display a 16.1-inch screen that offers up to a 144Hz refresh rate. It has two variants – the Intel variant is equipped with an 11th generation Intel Core i5-11260H processor, which is followed by 16 GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Whereas, the AMD edition is powered by the Ryzen 7 5800 processor and 16 GB of RAM. It also offers 512 GB of storage.

When talking about their software, both devices come with Windows 10. However, they are expected to receive the Windows 11 update soon. The Redmi G 2021 intel variant features a 180W power adapter. On the other hand, the AMD model comes with a 230W power adapter.

Aside from these, the product features a Hurricane Heat Dissipation 3.0 system that offers dual fans and four outlets for expelling heat. The heat dissipation system of the AMD variant also features copper heat pipes.
