After the camera flagship Huawei P50 launch, this Chinese phone maker is preparing for its next flagship Huawei Mate 50. And now, there’s some interesting stuff that just landed to provide us a better look for the next Huawei flagship phone.

Well-known Weibo blogger-  DigitalChatStation has come up with a new leak regarding the upcoming Qualcomm processor – Snapdragon 898. The tipster wrote that the processor is under testing with a 4G band and has the code – SM8425, which has been actively reported to be the next Huawei flagship’ chipset.

However, the tipster remained silent on the matter to be specific on the device’s identity but he certainly revealed that the Snapdragon 898 phones will launch in 2022 but a new flagship phone will make a debut this year.

This statement could point a finger towards the upcoming Huawei Mate 50 series flagship with Snapdragon 898. Still, there’s no confirmation. According to previous launches, a new generation of Qualcomm Snapdragon high-end processors is expected to unveil somewhere in December. Meanwhile, a large number of manufacturers are expected to announce the launch of the “first batch of Snapdragon 898 devices.

Huawei Mate 50 Launch:

There are many speculations and reports that surround this particular discussion. This includes the upcoming Product Launch Conference on October 21 in Vienna. At the event, Huawei is likely to launch a new flagship with Snapdragon 898 chipset but will it be the new Huawei Mate 50 On the other hand, some sources mentioned that the Mate 50 lineup will launch in the first half of 2022.

From the specifications side, the Huawei Mate 50 Pro models could equip a new ring design that consists of a large circular camera bump on the rear including two camera rings identical to the P50 Pro.

Furthermore, the Mate 50 Pro will have the latest HarmonyOS software system designed especially with new features as well as optimizations for the consumers. Meanwhile, Huawei has not spoken a word on this subject as we continue to explore leaks and rumors.
