Realme has started rolling out a new software update for Realme Q, Realme X, and Realme X Youth Edition in China. It should soon be available for other smartphone markets in the coming days. This update brings October 2020 security patch, adds some new features as well as some bug fixes.

The changelog of Realme Q, Realme X, and Realme X Youth Edition is the same. It mentions the newly added Bluetooth headset call answer icon, a function of horizontal or long screenshots, and a physical key switch on the screenshot setting page.

This new update comes with newly added features including a new super power-saving mode to improve system endurance, a switch to enter the drawer pop-up input method, an icon sinking function, a switch to enable eye protection mode from sunset to sunrise, and more.
Adding to this, it also fixes the color temperature adjustment that fails with low probability after removing the eye-protection mode. The issues regarding the extremely low probability of splash screen when entering the album, a low-probability crash when browsing albums, low probability of mobile phone stuck during multiple moves.
