Xiaomi has started rolling out a new software update to Redmi 9 Power smartphone users that comes with May 2022 security patch. This release does not come with any major changes to the usual tools that enhance system security and stability.

This software updates for Redmi 9 Power are identified via firmware number V12.5.9.0. RJQINXM is based on Android 11. The latest build is rolling out in India and other markets are expected to get the same soon.
If you are a Redmi 9 Power user in India, you might get a notification about the May 2022 security patch, so download it from there. But, if you haven’t received it yet, you can check for the new update by going to Settings >> Software Update and clicking on Download and Install.
