According to a report, Apple could release its Apple TV application on Xbox. Members of the Xbox Insider Beta program recently shared a photo that appeared to show the Apple TV app in the list of testable apps, although they said the app was not working and disappeared shortly.
Although, it is not clear when the app will be released on Xbox, but the report says it will be ‘possibly’ released on November 10th, which will happen to be the launch day of the new Xbox Series X and Series S consoles. It is not clear whether old consoles like Xbox One will be supported or not.
Through the Apple TV application, users can stream TV shows and movies from Apple TV+, Apple TV channels, and its iTunes library, as well as TV shows and movies purchased or rented from the iTunes Store.
The application is available on iPhone, iPad, Mac, PC, Apple TV, Roku, and Amazon Fire TV devices, as well as Samsung, LG, and Vizio smart TVs. And now it will be also available with Xbox.
