Resident Evil Village coming to Stadia on May 7th with free Chromecast and Stadia Controller

Resident Evil Village is coming to Stadia just like any other platform later this year, and Google is offering a free Chromecast Ultra and Stadia controller for early buyers.

Last year, one of the problems that Stadia faced was that when a lot of new games actually came to the platform, they did not always come out like other platforms. Until the last-minute release one day, Cyberpunk 2077 was in that difficulty.

Today, Google and Capcom share that the eighth entry in the series, Resident Evil Village, and the live sequel to Resident Evil 7 Biohazard will arrive at the stadium on May 7 as other consoles and PCs. It announced the first Resident Evil game for the platform as well as one of Cadcom’s first games to appear in the stadium.

A few years after the critically acclaimed Resident Evil 7 Biohazard‌, the newest story begins with Ethan Winters and his wife Mia, who live peacefully in a new place without being freed from previous nightmares. As they build their new lives, tragedy haunts them once again.

Google says the free bundle is available in the US, UK, Ireland, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Austria, and Switzerland. Unfortunately for Canadian residents, the agreement is not available.

Resident Evil Village is now available for pre-order at the Stadia Store. To help newcomers to the franchise, Catch, Resident Evil 7 Biohazard arrives at the stadium on April 1st. Even better, Stadia Pro members can get the Resident Evil 7 Biohazard Gold Edition for free, with two versions of the extra “limited footage” and two epilogue episodes.
