Saint’s Row, TimeSplitters, and more will not arrive at E3 2021

Saints Row, Dead Island, Metro, and Timesplitter will not be attending Summer Game Fest or E3 2021. The news came through publisher Deep Silver, explaining that these beloved franchises were absent from their parent company Coach Media’s E3 showcase. It adds that these games do not appear “at any other E3 event“.

This will come as a surprise to many fans, as some are hoping for a revelation for the new Saints Row game that has been in development for some time. Also, there have been rumors that Dead Island 2, which has been doing well over the past decade, will be seen in E3 2021. It first came to E3 in 2014 and has since shifted developers from Agar Development to Sumo Digital to Dumpster Studios.

Recently, Deep Silver announced the revamp of TimeSplitters, claiming that free radicals would be improved to develop a new game in the series. As part of the announcement, the publisher explained that the game has not yet begun development, so it should come as no surprise that E3 will skip 2021.

Also, the latest entry in the series released in 2019 is Metro Exodus, and although it is likely to make a new game, it is too early to reveal anything at E3.

Despite these beloved franchises not making an appearance, Koch Media has numerous properties under its belt, so fans will still have plenty of reveals to look forward to this summer. Koch Media will hold its E3 2021 presentation at noon PT on July 11.
