Samsung has launched some interesting products in South Korea including a new S Pen Creator Edition as well as a 25W PD charger Energy Efficiency. According to the details, the latter one is a compact-size adapter that shows energy-saving capabilities.
The tech giant has used gallium nitride (GaN) to make the Samsung 25W PD charger, offering a slim outlook over existing adapters. Besides, the product uses a recycled plastic material, wrapped around its body which significantly helps in reducing e-waste.
Speaking about features, the newly launched charger is capable of reducing the standby power from 20mW to 5mW and effectively saves energy. On the flip side, it adds a layer of safety on compatible devices and shields them from overcurrent as well as high temperatures.
The device further supports USB 3.0 PD and flaunts in two shades – Black and White. In terms of pricing, the device is available for 33,000 won ($25) with a C-type cable and 25,300 won ($19) without the cable.
