As usual, before the start of the month, Samsung began its August 2022 Android security patch update rollout for some of its devices and the Galaxy Z Flip 5G is the latest to grab it. However, the latest S series devices including Galaxy S22, Galaxy S21, and Galaxy S20 have already obtained the software patch.

As per the info, Samsung August 2022 security update is currently rolling out for Galaxy Z Flip 5G users residing in Switzerland and can be identified via the firmware version number F707BXXU6GVG5. The changelog of this update doesn’t mention anything.
As it’s a monthly security patch, it will bring improvements in the security and stability of your device by fixing several bugs and issues. We can also expect that the South Korean tech giant will soon release the details of this August 2022 security patch.
