Samsung bringing new app icons with One UI 5.0 Beta 2, coming soon
Samsung has begun rolling out the first Android 13-based One UI 5.0 beta update for Galaxy S22 series phones earlier this month. The new version introduces a bunch of new features and changes. Meanwhile, the One UI 5.0 Beta 2 with some new app icons is reportedly coming soon.
Recently, a well-known tipster named Ice Universe revealed that Samsung with its One UI 5.0 Beta 2 will introduce new app icons. He did not reveal the names of all applications that are getting a new logo but hinted that these apps include Samsung Gallery.

The tipster even shows off the new Samsung Gallery logo that looks opposite to the current one. At present, the Gallery app has a White flower under a Pink box, whereas, the new one has a Pink flower under a White box, it looks nice though.
Alongside these, Ice Universe also said that the second beta of One UI 5.0 is coming soon. Again, he didn’t expose the time when it will release.

On the other side, recently, a company moderator revealed that it will be released after the first beta’s feedback analysis, which is currently underway. We can speculate that it will arrive in the first half of next month.
Samsung will bring many additional features for the beta testers with One UI 5.0 Beta 2. At the same time, it will improve the current features as well as will fix the bugs and instability that users are facing with the first beta build.
The three Samsung Galaxy S22 series phones are currently the only devices that can join and test the beta version of the new OS in select countries. However, it will expand to many other Galaxy devices like S21, S20, Z Fold 4, Z Flip 4, etc very soon.
