Samsung One UI 7 Beta Schedule
Samsung’s customer support in India has reportedly shared dates for the One UI 7 beta updates for the Galaxy S24 series. According to them:
- The first beta update will arrive today.
- The second beta is expected on December 23.
- The third beta is scheduled for December 30.
These updates will be the second, third, and fourth betas for users in Germany, Korea, the US, and the UK. However, delays are always possible, and Samsung customer support has been known to provide overly optimistic timelines. So, users should take these dates with caution.
Samsung has released an update for its Device Security app with version 8.0.35, bringing improvements for Galaxy devices running One UI 7. The update focuses on boosting security and performance, with a package size of 38.1MB.
Key updates include:
- Improved Malware Detection: The app’s malware database has been upgraded to better detect and protect devices from new threats.
- Bug Fixes & Performance Enhancements: Several minor bugs have been resolved to provide a smoother user experience.
- Refreshed Look: The app now has a modern design, featuring a blue-and-white shield icon with a checkmark that matches One UI 7’s style.
To update the app, go to Galaxy Store > Menu > Updates, or use a trusted source if required.
Samsung has rolled out the December 2024 security patch for the Galaxy A53 5G. This update improves system security, stability, and overall performance.

The December patch addresses 45 vulnerabilities, including:
- 6 critical issues and 28 high-severity bugs.

To install the update:
- Open Settings.
- Tap Software Updates.
- Select Download and Install.
