“Availability of feature and security updates may vary by device and country. Update supported for flagship models from Galaxy S10 (Android 9) or later.”
It means the 3 major OS update program include the Galaxy Note 10 series, Galaxy Note 20 series, Galaxy S10 series, Galaxy S20 series, Galaxy Z Flip 5G, Galaxy Z Flip, and Galaxy Fold.
Previously, Samsung flagships are promised to receive two major OS upgrades but many of the Samsung consumers were not happy with this so-called 2 year “Software Update Support”.
This new change in its software policy likely to have a positive effect on the people who are thinking and will think of buying Samsung flagships. It may also help the company to sell extra devices.
Samsung’s One UI operating system is built on top of Android and later this year, users will be able to test One UI 3 (Android 11) through beta testing. More information linked here.
