Samsung Galaxy A51 5G One UI 3.1 update rolling out in South Korea

Back in December 2020, Samsung announced the Android 11-based One UI 3.0 beta testing program for one of its popular Galaxy A51 5G devices. However, the beta activity is only limited to the Korean variants of the Galaxy A51. Besides, the international versions received the stable One UI 3.0 update earlier this month.

Now, as per the latest info, the Korean tech giant is rolling out a new beta update to the Galaxy A51 5G phones in its home ground. Identified via release number ZUB6, the latest beta firmware surprisingly applies the One UI 3.1 changes to the A51 5G smartphones.

On the other hand, this 4th One UI 3 beta update for the Galaxy A51 5G handsets brings fixes for the automatic reset error of the device while using it. Moreover, in order to increase the user’s photography experience, the update comes with improvements for the system camera function.

Based on Android 11, Samsung One UI 3.1 allows users to remove the location of images before sharing and brings several new features including private share, object eraser, Eye Comfort Shield, video call effects, and more. [Take a look at the latest One UI 3.1 features]

As mentioned above, currently, the Galaxy A51 5G One UI 3 beta testers getting the One UI 3.1 version in South Korea. We can expect, the company will deliver a stable Android 11 update to these phones in the country in the coming days. And, the One UI 3.1 features may soon be available for the Galaxy A51 users outside Korea because they have already updated to the One UI 3.0 version.

On February 18, 2021, Samsung officially confirmed, starting today the One UI 3.1 update will be provided to several flagships and select mid-rangers. Following the announcement, the Galaxy S20, Note 20, Z Fold 2, and Z Flip models have started getting the One UI 3.1 update over the air.
