Samsung Galaxy A80 is getting the latest software update with the January 2022 security patch. The update comes with software version A805FXXS6DVA1.

If you want to check for the software update manually, just head into the device Settings, tap on the Software update menu and go for the Download and install option.

Samsung launched the Galaxy A80 with an innovative rotating camera system that provides a full view screen. The phone came with Android 9 based One UI 1.X and is has also received another upgrade to Android 10 based One UI 2.5.
Now, as per the latest news, the Galaxy A80 phones are now getting the latest Android 11 based One UI 3.1 update that comes along with March 2021 security patch. Identified with version number A805FXXU5DUC7, the update is currently rolling out for the devices in France.
As per Samsung’s latest updates policy, the Galaxy A80 won’t be getting any further Android updates and the Android 11 will be the last upgrade for these phones. It is important to note that the update is currently rolling out in batches and it may take time to reach every phone.
