Samsung Galaxy AI with One UI 6.1 won’t be coming to these Galaxy devices
Samsung is ready to enhance the user experience with the rollout of the One UI 6.1 software update for its nine older flagship devices at the end of March, as it again confirmed the eligibility. This update will introduce ‘Galaxy AI’ features to the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, Galaxy S23 Ultra, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Z Flip 5, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Tab S9, Galaxy Tab S9 Plus, and Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra.
In addition to the eligibility criteria, Samsung also shows that flagships like the Galaxy S22 series, Z Fold 4, and more will not get the One UI 6.1 update this month. We can expect the One UI 6.1 rollout for mid-rangers and other smartphones in April.
Galaxy AI is designed to make Samsung devices smarter and more user-friendly. It includes features like Real-Time Interpretation, which helps users translate languages on the go, and Chat Assist, which improves communication. Other features like Circle to Search, Note Assist, and Generative Edit are also part of the update, making everyday tasks easier.
The anticipation for One UI 6.1 is high, as it promises to bring a new level of intelligence and convenience to Samsung’s premium devices. Users are eager to explore the full potential of their smartphones and tablets with the advanced features offered by Galaxy AI.
Lim Seong-taek, Vice President of Samsung Electronics Korea, said, “Samsung Electronics will provide the Galaxy AI experience to more users and lead the market. I hope you enjoy it along with the benefits.”
