Samsung Galaxy Book Pro lineup received SGS certificate for powerful gaming performance
Samsung launched its new laptops Galaxy Book Pro and Galaxy Book Pro 360 on April 28, 2021. These new PCs offer several compelling features, OLED display, S Pen support, powerful performance, better connectivity across devices, and more.
According to information, Samsung Display recently announced that SGS, the world’s leading certification company, has certified the gaming performance of the Galaxy Book Pro and Galaxy Book Pro 360’s OLED. SDS test results show that the blur length of these two laptops is less than 1.4mm, and the motion image response time is less than 15.4ms.

These two standards are essential for enjoying dynamic and fast-paced action games. At the same time, a laptop with the same LCD screen displayed a maximum blur length of 2.1mm and a dynamic image response time of 26.4ms, while it’s HDR contrast ratio exceeded 1,000,000:1.
The South Korean display manufacturer pointed out that when fast-paced video games that require higher performance are played on a monitor with a longer blurring length, the image quality is usually degraded, which may harm the user experience.
Samsung Display said, “OLED has a very wide range of contrast thus offers a more immersive gaming experience for consumers who favor dynamic, flamboyant games,”
In addition, Samsung Display’s new OLED panel also has a wide color gamut (120% of DCI-P3) and low brightness performance of fewer than 0.0005 nits, which also provides a movie-like experience.
Choi Soon-ho, director at Samsung Display said, “As people spend more time home, the laptop has become the go-to device not only for web-surfing and word-processing but also for watching movies and sports games and playing video games. OLED is the very display that could meet consumers’ various needs.”
