Samsung Galaxy Fit 2 update brings new watch faces and improvements

Samsung starts releasing a new firmware update for Galaxy Fit 2 in South Korea. The changelog of this update shows that it adds some new watch faces and makes improvements in the notification functionality. As per the user-shared screenshots, this update offers a total of 7 new watch faces in two different styles.

The update weighs in at just 3MB and is currently available on the Samsung home ground in South Korea. The company expected to bring this new update with the latest features to Galaxy Fit 2 customers outside South Korea soon.

How to check for an update

  • Open the Galaxy Wearable app on your mobile
  • Tap Home
  • Go to the Update band software option
  • Then, tap on Download and install.

Samsung launched the Galaxy Fit 2 smart band in its Unpacked event alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 2 smartphone. This smart band is an updated version of the original Galaxy Fit band that comes with a larger display and more battery life. It can provide up to 15 days typical usage time with its 159mAh battery and works on FreeRTOS operating system.

The Galaxy Band 2 from Samsung comes with all the options that are required in a fitness band such as a compact round-shaped 1.1-inch AMOLED display, Bluetooth version 5.1, 2MB RAM, 32MB storage, and more.
