Samsung Galaxy S10 Android 11 One UI 3.0 update arrives in Canada

Posted on

Back in January 2021, Telus has published the Android 11 update schedule for its locked Samsung Galaxy S10 series devices in Canada. At that time, the carrier informed that the Galaxy S10 and Z Flip phones will get the stable Android 11 and One UI 3.0 upgrade from February 2nd, 2021.

Following the promise, several network service providers are now rolling out the Android 11-based One UI 3.0 firmware update in Canada. In addition to the 3rd generation of One UI, the new update also brings the January 2021 security patch.

Just like every time, Samsung and the carriers together provide the Android 11 upgrade to the Galaxy S10 devices gradually. Gradual means, the new firmware will be available to only select users and may take some time to hit every Galaxy S10 smartphone.

The One UI 3.0 is based on Android 11. This version brings several new features and improvements such as better privacy controls, one-time permissions for apps, chat bubbles, and much more. Check the full changelog here
