Samsung Galaxy S23 FE gets December 2024 patch update with security enhancements
Samsung has rolled out the December 2024 security update for Galaxy S23 FE users. This update improves the phone’s security and overall performance by fixing various issues.
The new firmware comes with the One UI build version S711BXXS6DXK8 and is about 300 MB in size. Currently, it is available in Europe, but Samsung plans to release it in more regions soon. Since it’s an initial rollout, some users might have to wait a bit longer.
One UI 7 Update: What to Expect
While users enjoy the December update, many are looking forward to Samsung’s One UI 7, which is based on Android 15. Currently, the One UI 7 beta is only available for the Galaxy S24 series in select countries.
For Galaxy S23 series users, including the S23 FE, the beta version is expected to roll out in January 2025. However, it’s unclear whether S23 FE users will get access to the beta program.
Samsung is likely to launch the stable version of One UI 7 alongside the Galaxy S25 series next year. After that, other Galaxy devices, including the Galaxy S23 FE, will receive the stable update.
Stay Updated
For now, Galaxy S23 FE owners can benefit from the December 2024 security patch, which keeps their phones secure and running smoothly. Stay tuned for more updates, including One UI 7, in the coming months.
