Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ getting March 2021 security update
The Galaxy S9 and S9+ are one of the best-selling smartphones from Samsung that were launched back in 2018. The Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ both packs a bunch of premium features such as a curved AMOLED display, powerful processor, high-end camera, and more.
These smartphones were launched with pre-installed Android 8 Oreo and have received two major upgrades as of now. The Galaxy S9 phone is currently operating at Android 10 based One UI 2.5 and won’t be receiving the latest Android 11 update, as per Samsung’s new update policy.
The company is currently releasing the One UI 3.1 update for its eligible Galaxy devices. But unfortunately, the Galaxy S9 phones are no longer eligible to get these latest changes. Meanwhile, the company is taking care of these phones by sending regular security updates.
