JULY 20, 2020:
Samsung is one of the major Android OEMs that get the Rich Communication Service (RCS) support on its devices. After the Galaxy A70, the company is now enabling the RCS messaging feature for Samsung Galaxy S9 smartphones in Germany, as confirmed by a Reddit user.
Samsung has started pushing the RCS messaging feature with the July 2020 security patch for Samsung Galaxy S9. This feature makes your conversation more seamlessly and you can also chat over the WiFi.
With this new feature you can send and receive high-resolution photos and videos, and see if people have received your latest messages. Plus, you’ll get better group chats, with the ability to name groups, add and remove people to and from groups, and see if people haven’t seen the latest messages.
