Samsung is once again revising the official software support, this time for the Galaxy Tab S6 devices. Eventually, the company is marking a full stop on the update cycle for the respective tablets and will no longer provide any major enhancements to them.
While publishing the October 2023 security patch details, the company pulled out some devices from the quarterly list to biannual whereas, a few of them won’t get any new updates at all. One of them is the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 from which, the software support is now over.
But here lies the twist. The manufacturer has ended the software support only for the Wi-Fi and LTE models. Meanwhile, the 5G variants will continue to attain the latest improvements as well as versions.
At the same time, the tech giant canceled software support for Galaxy A90 5G, M10s, and M30s. Besides, a few phones have been downgraded to fewer updates such as Galaxy A03s, Galaxy M32/5G, and Galaxy F42 5G. These handsets will receive 2 security updates in a year.
