Samsung officially unveiled the latest Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6, a book and clamshell style foldable phones. These innovative devices boast impressive specs, sleek designs, and advanced Galaxy AI features.
Both the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 packs some or the other upgraded features as compared to their predecessors. Now, let’s have a look at the specifications and availability of these newly launched foldable phones.
Display
Starting with Galaxy Z Fold 6, the device features a 6.3-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display on the outside and a 7.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X Infinity Flex display on the inside.
On the other hand, the Galaxy Z Flip 6, has a 3.4-inch Super AMOLED FlexWindow on the outside and a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X Infinity Flex display on the inside.
Both foldable supports 120Hz Adaptive refresh rate, while Galaxy Z Flip 6 cover screen only supports a 60Hz refresh rate, to offer users ultimate and more seamless visuals.
Camera
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 has a triple rear camera setup, featuring a 50MP wide-angle lens, a 12MP ultra-wide angle, and a 10MP 3x telephoto camera. It also has a 4MP under-display selfie camera and a 10-megapixel selfie camera on the cover.
Whereas, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 has a dual rear camera setup, featuring a 50MP wide-angle camera and a 12MP ultra-wide angle camera to let users capture beautiful moments. It also has a 10MP camera on the front.

Processor
Both devices are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and come with 12GB RAM and 256GB or 512GB of internal storage. Among both, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 also comes with a 1TB storage option.
The Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 run on Android 14-based One UI 6.1.1 software out of the box and are promised to receive seven years of software and security updates.
Battery and Charging
The Galaxy Z Fold 6 has a 4,400mAh battery, while the Z Flip 6 has a 4,000mAh battery. Both devices support 25W USB-C charging and wireless charging capabilities.
Special features
Both foldable phones are equipped with an IP48 rating for water and dust resistance. The Fold 6 features Note Assist, which offers translation, summaries, and auto-formatting for simple and easy meeting notes.
It also has a newly embedded transcript feature that enables transcription, translation, and summarizing of voice recordings directly in Notes. While Galaxy Z Flip 6 FlexWindow enables AI-assisted functions and suggested replies.
Colors and Availability
The Galaxy Z Fold 6 is available in Silver Shadow, Pink, and Navy. And Galaxy Z Flip 6 is available in Silver Shadow, Yellow, Blue, and Mint color options. The exclusive colors of the big screen device include Crafted Black, White, and Peach.
These latest foldables are available to pre-order starting July 10. While they will be open for purchase for general users on July 24.
