Samsung is likely to join Android 14 (One UI 6.0) beta party in late July
Samsung has begun the countdown to join the Android 14 beta party and we could get some good news for the Galaxy S23 series in July 2023. As per the latest information, the Korean tech giant is finally making its way to the Android 14-based One UI 6.0 beta phase for its top-end models.
While most of the Chinese brands have already shared the first Android 14 beta (developer preview) to their flagship devices, Samsung backed off with this process. This has not only amazed the Galaxy smartphone fans but also raise the question as to why the Android king is lacking behind in this race.
But ultimately, the company is ready to enter the dynamic Android 14 beta stage with Samsung Galaxy S23 models in July. A newly released information says that the manufacturer will initiate the One UI 6.0 beta program for the giant S series devices in the third week of the next month.
It would be slightly earlier than last year, when Samsung showed up the first Android 13-based One UI 5.0 beta in August 2022. To be mentioned, the software release was close to the launch of the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4 devices.
Consequently, it looks like the company is trying to adopt a similar timeline this year as well. Perhaps, a few statements reveal that Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5 could make their debut on July 27. It would be worth seeing how the OEM will combine these dates to raise excitement among its users.

Apart from Android, Samsung gives a more personalized look to the One UI firmware. The company has laid the groundwork by updating apps with One UI 6.0 support. After the tech-pack S23 devices, the phone maker will initiate the beta round to other handsets as well. There is still a lot to explore on this matter, and we will keep you posted with the latest inputs.
