[UPDATE: Global rollout] Samsung is rolling out stable Android 11-based One UI 3.0 update to the Galaxy S20 FE

When Samsung started rolling out the Android 11-based One UI 3.0 update to the Galaxy S20 FE last week, it surprised everyone, two months ahead of the official schedule.

The update was originally released for the LTE version in the Russian market. Now, Samsung has also begun to update 5G variants of the Galaxy S20 FE. The software version of this update is G781BXXU1BTL4. More importantly, the update is now available in dozens of markets.

The One UI 3.0 update based on Android 11 brings a lot of new features, enhancements, and UI changes to Samsung smartphones. Samsung has also made some improvements to the stock application, such as messages, contacts, phone, and calendar.

After starting the One UI 3.0 Beta program, Samsung has now started rolling out the stable Android 11-based One UI 3.0 update for its Galaxy S20 FE. The update is currently rolling out in Russia, the update should soon be available in other countries.

The rollout started earlier than expected. The software version of this update is G780FXXU1BTL1. Alongside several new Android 11 features, it also adds the December 2020 security patch.

According to the official roadmap, Samsung scheduled the Android 11 update for the Galaxy S20 FE in January 2021, in some regions, it was February 2021.

The company has already started the stable update rollout for the Galaxy S20, S20+, S20 Ultra, Note 20, and Note 20 Ultra.

If you’re a Galaxy S20 FE owner in Russia, you can manually check for the latest software update by heading into the device Settings > Software Update > Download and Install.
