Samsung Knox Vault will also be available for mid-range Galaxy devices from 2024
At the Samsung Developers Conference (SDC) 2023, the Korean tech maker made a big announcement, which suggested that Samsung’s hardware-based security solution, Knox Vault, which was previously available only on flagship devices, is expanding to mid-range Galaxy A-series phones in 2024.
Debuted with Galaxy S21 series in 2021, the feature was only been available on Samsung’s flagship devices, such as the Galaxy S, Galaxy Z Flip, and Galaxy Z Fold series. But now the company has decided to offer some A series devices better security with its Knox Vault feature starting in 2024.
However, it’s currently unclear whether Knox Vault will be available on all 2024 Galaxy A devices or be limited to some. But its expansion to mid-range phones is a positive step for Samsung. Additionally, the company announced that its Neo QLED 8K TVs will receive also Knox Vault later this year.
