Samsung launches Galaxy S23 series with One UI 5.1 and five years of software support
Today, Samsung has officially unveiled the Galaxy S23 smartphone lineup for consumers worldwide. The new flagship lineup comes with the fastest Snapdragon processor, power-efficient displays, epic camera capabilities, and One UI 5.1, great software update support, and much more.
Samsung promised that the Galaxy S23 series devices are eligible for four major Android plus One UI updates. It means, the devices will receive major upgrades until Android 17, starting with the Android 14-based One UI 6.0 later this year.

Apart from Android updates, the Galaxy S23 series will get regular security patch update support for at least five years. If the company further expands the support, this lifespan may last even after 2028. It allows you to use the smartphone for a longer time, without compromising with reliability.

Galaxy S23 Plus
Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus smartphone packs a 6.6-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X flat display with a 120 Hz adaptive refresh rate. It features a triple rear camera with a bumpless design. The phone is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 nm SoC, featuring an in-display Ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and running Android 13-based One UI 5.1.
Talking about the camera, the phone equips a 50-megapixel Dual Pixel primary sensor with OIS, a 12-megapixel Ultra Wide Lens, and a 10-megapixel Telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and OIS. There’s also a 10-megapixel Dual Pixel front-facing camera.
The smartphone support 8K video recording at up to 30 frames per second with the primary camera and 60 frames per second with 4K mode with a front/back camera. In low light conditions or at night, you can capture better pictures and videos.
Galaxy S23 Plus smartphone comes with IP68 for dust and water resistance. It has a 4700 mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging, and also features 15W wireless and reverse wireless charging.
The smartphone has Ultra-wideband capabilities (UWB), Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.3. The dimension and weight of the smartphone are 157.8×76.2×7.6mm and 195 grams respectively. It is available with 8GB RAM and 256GB/512GB storage at the starting price of $999.
