Samsung has officially rolled out the One UI 5.0 Beta 3 for Galaxy S22 customers. The update is currently live in Germany and it’ll soon expand to other eligible countries including the United States, South Korea, India, United Kingdom, Poland, and China.

This update brings some notable changes and a bunch of improvements including the most demanding home screen animation. According to the official One UI 5.0 Beta 3 changelog, you will now be able to add the Gallery widget to the home screen.

In addition, the third One UI 5.0 beta build improves the UX Album tab at the bottom of the Gallery app, optimization function for each terminal mode, new slideshow-style immersive stories in Gallery, and much more.

  • Add Gallery widget to home screen
  • Bugs that have been fixed:
    • Experience new slideshow-style immersive stories in Gallery
    • Improvement introduced so that lock screen wallpaper can be changed instantly by long press on lock screen
    • Improved UX the Album tab at the bottom of the Gallery app – By default, ” Device maintenance > Automatic optimization > Automatic restart on demand ” is off by default
    • Improved optimization function for each terminal mode and shifting the menu position ( Settings > Useful functions > Bixby Routine > Mode → Settings > Mode )
    • Fixed home screen return animation
    • Fixed animation overlap when closing folders
    • Fixed the issue with IMS service stop pop-up appearing after SW update
    • Fixed the issue with not being able to exit the app with gestures while running multiple apps on the lock screen -Fixed the issue with changing Calendar widget transparency
