Recently, a customer on the Samsung South Korea community shared a screenshot of the Checkfirm app that shows the Galaxy A32 is testing a major One UI update and it’s apparently Android 13-based One UI 5.1.
According to the information, the company is testing the Android 13-based One UI 5.1 update for Galaxy A32 smartphones with One UI build version A325NKSU1CVH1 in South Korea. However, nothing else is detailed in the provided screenshot.
Launched last year, Samsung Galaxy A32 came pre-installed with Android 11-based One UI 3.1 OS. Skipping One UI 3.1.1 and One UI 4.0, the device received its first major OS as Android 12-based One UI 4.1 earlier this year. And next, it will get the Android 13-based One UI 5.
Why One UI 5.1 and not One UI 5.0 or One UI 4.1.1?
Samsung is currently working on two One UI versions – One UI 4.1.1 and One UI 5.0. Apart from these two, the chances of getting One UI 5.1 are high because this device did not get One UI 3.1.1 and One UI 4.0 updates even before and it is expected that this time also the company will follow the same strategy.
Further, it’s worth mentioning that Samsung will introduce the One UI 5.1 OS alongside the Galaxy S23 series earlier the next year. So as soon as the stable update starts reaching Galaxy owners, the Galaxy A32 will grab it.
This version will bring many new features and improvements over the One UI 5.0. Additionally, it will fix the issues and that will appear in the One UI 5.0 upgrade.
